Distribution Present

(Chronological/ sequential order)After the chips are made and packaged in a factory, then trucks ship Frito Lays products to warehouse sites. What's interesting about this is Frito Lay now allows other companies to use their trucks for shipping, when the products are going to the same store. This increases their profit (by splitting costs and charging other companies a reduced price for using their trucks) and helps reduce the fuel emissions which is better for the environment.

Today, Frito-Lay continues to handle their distribution in the same was as they always have, using warehouse to store products for the surrounding areas.

Once shipped, Frito-Lays products are sold in grocery stores, convenience stores, and gas stations around the world. One of the current issues with this can be that due to conatrsints of space and location, as well as the key market (what group of people like what flavors best), sometimes certain stores don’t carry certain flavors of products.

Closing sentence/conclusion: Lays has made some adjustments to their methods of distribution that have positively impacted both the company's profits, and the environment.
